  • Food Processor or Blender

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 stalks of lemongrass
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • fresh cilantro
  • ~5 cm cube of fresh ginger root [2 inches]
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 green chiles (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Ground all ingredients together in a food processor or blender. Using a blender will give you a smoother paste and the final sauce will have a greener homogenous look to it.

Notes

The number of green chiles should change according to your tolerance/love of spiciness. If you are unsure, you can always add green tabasco to the finished sauce.
